2 Corinthians 2:7 so that, on the contrary, you ought rather to forgive and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one be swallowed up with too much sorrow.
Do you know someone who is sorry for their sin? Then don’t keep reminding them of it.
If they have sought forgiveness and put it behind them, it is dead. Instead of criticizing, remind them of the power of God that works in their life.
Encourage them when temptation calls their name. Then they will not be overcome by sorrow and fall into sin again.
Give comfort, and you will be a blessing.
