Daily Dose: It’ll Get Better

Haggai 2:9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.

Today I write from a place of hurt and confusion. My mind is racing and my heart keeps breaking but I’m pressing forward in hope.

I’m hopeful that things will get better and the pain will subside. I’m hopeful that what’s coming is going to be better than what’s been and my stumbling blocks will be my stepping stones.

My emotions tell me that I won’t bounce back, but my God tells me that my latter will be greater than my past.

So today; even in my brokenness I share with you my hope in Jesus. He has a plan for all of us and called us for a purpose greater than this situation. So as you keep pressing toward the mark of the high calling stand firm on his word and know that things will get better.

Romans 5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Daily Dose – Turn From Your Wicked Ways

2 Chronicles 7-14

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

When God spoke these words he wasn’t speaking to the unsaved. He was speaking to you and I: His people.

God recognized that although we know Him and serve Him we have some ways that are wicked in His sight. He has given us dominion over the earth, but our ways and lack of desire to pray and seek His face prevents us from seeing the manifestation of His goodness in our land.

So many negative things are taking place around the world, and we the people of God have the power to change them.

Will you examine yourself and turn from those things that aren’t pleasing to God, for the sake of your land?

Daily Dose – Ever Present

God Sees

Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the Lord are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the good.

God is in EVERY place. He’s EVERYWHERE we are and sees EVERYTHING we do.

Sometimes we overlook the reality that God isn’t confined to the walls of our church. The reality is, he is everywhere that we are, looking at what we’re doing; both good and evil.

I have surely fallen prey to not being cognoscente of God’s presence in every single aspect of my life.

If we can picture God being right by our sides as we go through our day, how much better would we behave? How much more will we live our lives in accordance to His word and His commandments?

It’s important to remember that our inability to acknowledge God’s presence does not mean he’s not there.

I purpose today to acknowledge the presence of my Father, King, Savior and Friend as I go through my day.

Will you do the same?

Daily Dose – Acceptable Unto God

Pleasing to God

Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

The God that we serve is all knowing, all seeing and all powerful. When he looks at us he searches our hearts, listen to the words we speak and examine what we meditate upon.

Let us purpose in our hearts to think, speak and meditate on those things that would be pleasing to God. For unlike men, he sees beyond our outward appearance and our portrayal of right. God sees us for who we really are.

Presenting ourselves as  living sacrifice, pleasing to God is not an overnight venture. It is something that we have to work on daily, something that we have to purpose into being.

So as you go through each day remember that whatsoever you have in your hearts, think about and the speak, should be pleasing to your Father in heaven.

Awesome God

On my way to work this morning the a song started playing and it sent me into an entirely different frame of mind than I was in initially. I was battling with myself for some mistakes I made and the song started with “my God is awesome he can move mountains……..” immediately I snapped out of that guilt stricken state and started praising him.

You can listen to the song here.

I can’t help this overwhelming feeling I’m experiencing even as I write this post and listen to the words of that song. HE IS SO AWESOME. I am truly blessed to be serving a God who can do ALL things. He is my provider, protector, healer, deliverer! I am blessed beyond reasoning and it’s all because I serve an ABSOLUTELY AWESOME GOD.

I encourage you to share your testimonies with us by emailing them to testifywithme@gmail.com . We need to tell the world about the great God we serve.
God Bless You!!

A Call For Testimonies

Many of us as believers know that God is real because of our encounters with him. Unlike us many people are still looking for answers as to who God is and whether he’s real or not. I believe that our testimonies can help save the souls of the unsaved or encourage believers to continue in their walk with Christ. The Bible instructs us to let the WHOLE WORLD know what he has done.

I wish to make your testimonies available to my readership. If God has done something great in your life or has proven himself in an unbelievable way to you please share it with us.

Send me an email with your testimony at testifywithme@gmail.com or like my page on facebook Testimonies of His Goodness and send me a message.

I look forward to hearing from all of you and sharing your testimonies with the world.

God Bless You!
